Aerozone Alliance, in collaboration with Team NEO and JobsOhio, is seeking qualified consulting services to develop an Economic Catalyst Plan for the Aerozone District in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. This initiative aims to harness the region’s economic growth potential by leveraging pivotal regional anchors such as Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and NASA Glenn Research Center. Supported by the Economic Development Administration (EDA), the plan will address long-standing economic development needs by creating a tangible, actionable strategy to align local resources, stakeholders, and opportunities, fostering sustainable growth in the region.
The Aerozone District, a regional hub for aerospace, aviation, advanced manufacturing, and logistics innovation, holds significant potential due to its rich infrastructure, skilled workforce, and unique community assets. However, the region has experienced limited aerospace growth over the past decade. This plan will integrate insights from prior assessments, such as land use mapping, industry studies, and regional development strategies, to identify barriers to growth and present a business case for advancing economic opportunities. The ultimate goal is to align public and private sector efforts to unlock the full economic potential of the Aerozone District.
