Dear Aerozone Community,
There seems to be an invisible hand that writes the future of a community. The implications of the plans that are created are difficult to comprehend. The variables that affect the journey far too vast. The expertise required to comprehend the implications is just too great.
But what if we could convene the right combination of public, private, philanthropic, and nonprofit leaders who could bring forth their varied experiences and perspectives? What if we could collectively help each other catch a glimpse of the future? Where they not only get to craft the vision, but also plan each step that leverages their respective strengths?
Could we then become masters of our own destiny?
This month we tested this theory. To help prepare for the conversation, we mapped some of our major land assets and projects. Our local leaders came together and identified a variety of critical opportunities that we must consider.
The categories of considerations include the following:
- Land Use Planning: Industrial
- Land Use Planning: Housing
- Land Use Planning: Public Infrastructure
- Land Use Planning: Information Database
- Economic Development: Targeted business engagement
- Funding: Streamline Aerozone economic incentives
- Operating Structure: Refine inter/intra public sector processes
- Market the Aerozone
As we embark on the journey, we know that we will require the expertise of all our key partners. Would you like to be part of the discussion? Please fill out our 2 minute feedback form below and tell us if/how you would like to be involved.
Warm regards,
Hrishue Mahalaha
