An alliance is more than just a partnership. It is a testament to the power of shared vision and collective action. It is the belief that by coming together, we can achieve more than we ever could alone. In 2024, Aerozone Alliance embodied this ideal, transforming Northeast Ohio’s Aerozone innovation district into a hub of growth, innovation, and opportunity.
Rooted in the unparallelled assets of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and NASA Glenn Research Center, Aerozone Alliance united public, private, and philanthropic partners to drive progress. Thanks to the unwavering support of these partners, we accomplished extraordinary feats. In the last 3 years, our Alliance of partners have helped retain and create 1,400 jobs, generate $46 million in payroll, secure $78 million in fixed investments, and contribute nearly $1 million in annual local taxes to the region.
Our gratitude extends to the many organizations and individuals who joined forces to make these achievements possible. Collaborations with Cleveland Hopkins Airport unlocked aerospace and logistics opportunities, while the Aerozone Microgrid initiative advanced sustainability with a portion of the $129 million clean energy grant. The “Pathways to Prosperity” program and successful job fairs, which resulted in over 150 job placements, further highlight our commitment to fostering talent and opportunity.
The crowning achievement of 2024 was the launch of the Aerozone Economic Catalyst Plan, supported by a $100,000 federal grant. This visionary roadmap, made possible through partnerships with Team NEO and other stakeholders, positions Northeast Ohio as a global leader in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and logistics.
