Herzog Automation recently celebrated the opening of its newly built facility in Strongsville, marking a significant milestone for the company, which has long been a part of Northeast Ohio’s business and steel community. Owner Dr. Jan Herzog joined local leaders and colleagues, including CEO Bruce Weakland and Director of Sales and Service Marius Combrinck, to commemorate the occasion. Attendees included Strongsville officials Brent Painter and Jim Kaminski, TeamNEO’s Michael Lalich, and Mary Jo Schmidt and Hrishue Mahalaha from Aerozone Alliance.
Having relocated in March 2024, Herzog’s new Strongsville site consolidates its U.S. sales and service operations. While not a manufacturing location, the facility is integral to Herzog’s North American footprint, with responsibilities that include local parts management and oversight across the U.S., Canada, and South America.
Known for its automation solutions in the cement, mining, and metals sectors, Herzog is now exploring opportunities in battery, EV, and U.S. food production. The team is also keen to deepen local engagement by connecting with universities and exploring partnerships for student training in materials analysis and automation.
Herzog’s new facility is a testament to its ongoing investment in Northeast Ohio, supporting growth, local hiring, and community involvement. This new chapter will help Herzog continue to serve its markets while advancing innovation in key industries.
