Good morning, friends – I hope this newsletter finds you well.
I’d like to take a moment to share two exciting developments at the Aerozone. Last month, I mentioned that we had applied for an Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant. It was a major collaborative effort involving over 60 public and private leaders, with Team NEO leading the grant submission process. I’m thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the grant!
This is a significant achievement as it marks the first major federal grant secured by Aerozone Alliance. We’ll use this funding to develop targeted strategies for attracting and growing aerospace businesses in the region. Read more about this initiative, the Aerozone Economic Catalyst Plan, and check out the latest media coverage on this exciting milestone.
Additionally, as you’ll see below, we are excited to announce our first major local conference: The Aerozone Energy Summit. With growing challenges in energy sustainability and resilience both nationally and regionally, we are bringing together a group of experts to share big ideas and practical solutions with local business and institutional leaders as they begin their energy resilience journey.
We hope you can join us on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Baldwin Wallace University.
Warm regards,
Hrishue Mahalaha
