Please join the American Technion Society in Washington, D.C., May 1–2, 2023, as they recognize Technion alumnus Dr. Eliad Peretz, recipient of NASA’s Exceptional Achievement Medal for his exceptional sustained performance and impact on multiple space missions.

Dr. Peretz, based at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), serves as a Mission and Instrument scientist at NASA’s Heliophysics Division. He also works closely with Nobel Laureate (Physics) Dr. John C. Mather as lead researcher for New Space Missions.

As they approach Israel’s 75th anniversary and the upcoming Technion Centennial in 2024, this is an especially appropriate time to celebrate Dr. Peretz and his remarkable accomplishments. As a graduate of the Technion’s Faculty of Aerospace Engineering – the only one of its kind in Israel – Dr. Peretz and his fellow aerospace engineering alumni are contributing to significant advances in space programs, satellite industries, defense, and sustainability efforts not only in Israel, but in the US and across the globe.
